- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
The course centers on fostering the personal development of managerial abilities, considering both systemic and individual preparation. Students explore various paths, approaches, and methods that can be effectively applied for personal and professional development. The culmination of the course is the creation of a personal self-development project. Under the guidance of the lecturer, students initially choose and present a specific area for personal development. Subsequently, they formulate a plan outlining specific activities aimed at bringing about positive changes in their chosen area of life.
Course Objectives:

to learn about various approaches, methods, and tools that can be effectively applied to personal and professional development;

to apply the acquired knowledge to stimulate the personal and professional development of others;

to design an appropriate structure for educational and (self-)development activities based on their objectives;

to understand the position of learning and development within effective management.

Main topics of the course (topics of individual lectures):

Personality and its characteristics in the context of life and work.

Objectives, areas, and methods of personality self-development.

Methodology of personality development, including self-reflection and work with experience.

Education for the personality development of managers. Experiential methods for self-development.

Current trends in self-development, exploring myths and reality.

Personal Sustainability.
Incorporating lectures by external managers is an integral part of the course to inspire students to take a deeper interest in the subject. The seminars will also include case studies and assignments drawn from the practices of both business and non-business entities.
Topics of individual seminars (implemented in the scope of 2 hours of teaching once every 14 days):
