Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of a dynamic process capabilities to plan, organize, retrieve and deploy personnel to lead and motivate staff and control; analyze decision problems, make decisions, coordinate and communicate so that business work successfully in an ever-changing market conditions, competitive global environment.
Syllabus
  • Business objectives. Definition of management. Development of approaches to management. Current trends in management. Objective managerial job. Sequential and continuous managerial functions. The tasks of the executive management.
  • Profile and celebrity manager, manager types of skills, managerial roles, types, principles, basic factors of motivation, multi-dimensionality and complexity of managerial work. Critical success factors. The use of modern tendencies successful managers work in different conditions.
  • Planning in a company providing owners meet business goals in a changing environment. The creative combination of factors of production and the strategic management of innovation.
  • The organization, based on the required key processes cílevědomně creating, maintaining and changing the state of order to a certain way of achieving their goals. Factors affecting development and selection of the most useful organizational structures. Reorganization.
  • Selection and deployment of staff. Human Resource Development Strategy. Identifying the needs of employees, planning, recruitment, selection, placement, assignment, job evaluation, employee and its consequences; training and retraining programs, systems of remuneration, working conditions for employees, and other personnel matters.
  • Management of of employees - streamlining the process and work motivation of employees to high-quality, active, efficient, creative filling tasks and other activities aimed at the prosperity of the company, meeting business goals. Creating a pro-innovation environment.
  • Checking. Control system for manager. Phase control process. Preferring prevention and continuous follow-up.
  • Analysis of decision problems (early identification decision problem; distribution complex problem into sub-problems, determine the degree of urgency of solving the problem, the solution of partial priority problems). − Decision-making. Phase of the decision-making process. Errors decisions.
  • Communication on the implementation of decisions related to the coordination of specialized activities in achieving business objectives, integrating sequential managerial functions. Creation of individual information system manager. The most important sources of information for the customers business manager and his subordinates.
