		Abstract
In English
Research and development (R&D) and their support are an important factor in increasing the competitiveness of enterprises and the future development of the economy. Economic instruments to support research and development (R&D) in the Czech Republic include both direct (grants, soft loans and guarantees of commercial loans, investments, etc.) and indirect (innovation vouchers and various forms of tax benefits) economic instruments. The main advantage of the indirect economic instruments is non-discriminatory in nature and relatively low administrative costs.
