Zasílatelskou smlouvou se zasílatel zavazuje příkazci obstarat mu vlastním jménem a na jeho účet přepravu zásilky z určitého místa do jiného určitého místa, případně i obstarat nebo provést úkony s přepravou související, a příkazce se zavazuje zaplatit zasílateli odměnu. Je-li ujednáno, že zasílatel obstará pro příkazce od příjemce zásilky přijetí peněžních prostředků nebo že uskuteční jiný inkasní úkon dříve, než příjemci vydá zásilku nebo doklad umožňující se zásilkou nakládat, použijí se přiměřeně i ustanovení o dokumentárním inkasu.

By way of a freight forwarder, the freight forwarder undertakes to order the shipper in his own name and on his behalf to transport the consignment from a certain place to another specific place or to arrange or carry out related transport operations, and the ordering party undertakes to pay the sender a remuneration. If it is agreed that the consignor will provide the recipient with the receipt of the funds or that he / she will make another collection order before the recipient issues a shipment or a document enabling the shipment to be dispatched, the documentary collection shall apply mutatis mutandis.
