- Course objectives
- The purpose of Internship is to allow students to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies in real-world settings, such as businesses, public entities, non-profit organizations, or specific project plans involving NEWTON University. Internship typically focuses on areas such as personnel management, human resources, public relations, marketing, business operations, as well as production and service planning, business economics, and financial management. Students may also gain substantial experience by participating in project plans and initiatives developed by NEWTON, including those in collaboration with external partners. Internship Structure: Internship can take the form of opportunities provided by NEWTON or those arranged independently by the student. It can be conducted as a block or continuous internships and may be either paid or unpaid. The minimum required duration for internship across all disciplines is 480 hours throughout the bachelor's program. Students may complete internship exceeding this minimum requirement. By the end of the 12th week of the winter semester, students must submit their evaluation through the IS Student Evaluation system, including the Guarantor Evaluation and Confirmation of Internship Implementation.
- Assessment methods
- Evaluation of the internship by the student. Evaluation of the internship by the guarantor. Submission of the internship confirmation from the guarantor. Participation in the colloquium. Colloquiums will be announced in the same manner as exams, both during the exam period and throughout the semester as necessary. Internship Opportunities An overview of current internship offers can be continuously accessed on the bulletin board in the Information System, on Facebook (NC - NEWTON Careers), and physically on the bulletin board in the school building. Course completion form: credit.
