The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the fundamental principles of artificial intelligence and its applications across various business sectors. Students will gain a basic understanding of machine learning, how chatbots based on large language model technology work, and the legal and ethical aspects of AI. They will be able to apply this knowledge to drive innovation in a business environment.
Syllabus

Lecture topics:

  • Basic terminology in artificial intelligence technology

  • Large language models and chatbots; prompt engineering

  • Using AI in marketing and automation

  • Machine learning for business and management

  • Generative AI in practice

  • Ethics in the use of artificial intelligence

Seminar topics:

  • Introduction to working with AI tools; prompting

  • Large language model chatbots

  • Tools for creating graphics

  • Tools for creating videos

  • AI agents and chatbots

  • Team project development and presentation

Assessment methods
Students will form teams of 3–5 members to develop and subsequently present a group project. They will choose a specific setting (e.g., a company, a school, or a hobby context) and prepare a proposal for the practical use of artificial intelligence tools to address selected tasks and improve process efficiency.
