Course objectives
This is a technical subject representing the preparation and submission of a diploma thesis in the study plans of the Economics and Management study programme. The Diploma Thesis subject serves as a platform for consultations between the thesis supervisor and students, in this respect it directly follows on from the Diploma Seminar subject and partly also from the professional study practice completed by students during their studies in the field. An integral and key part of the subject are the individual consultations accompanying the preparation of the diploma thesis between its author and the thesis supervisor. These consultations can be in person, electronic or in another form depending on the agreement of both cooperating parties. As well as for assigning a topic and submitting the diploma thesis, the possibilities of the internal information system IS NU can also be used to organize individual consultations.
Assessment methods
Credit: awarded on condition that the thesis is submitted in the semester in which the Thesis course is enrolled. If the thesis is not submitted in the semester in which the Thesis course is enrolled, it is not possible to successfully complete this course and it is necessary to re-enroll in the following semester.
