- Course objectives
The course focuses on acquiring and deepening students knowledge and skills in the area of actively seeking out business/entrepreneurial opportunities, analyzing opportunities, communicating and presenting business opportunities, and the principles of creating a business and financial plan.
The course aims to teach students to evaluate business opportunities based on market cycles and trends, present business opportunities and lead constructive discussions in a team, compile a business plan for a selected business opportunity, and prepare an action plan for implementing the business opportunity.
- Syllabus
1. Market research (analysis of technological, social, and economic trends in local and global markets; criteria for selecting business opportunities by sector, market, potential growth, scalability, demand, purchasing power, and financial requirements).
2. Economic and financial analysis (compiling a list of business opportunities, analyzing feasibility and economic viability from the perspective of resources—people/know-how/finance/economic returns).
3. Presentation, communication, and analytical thinking (ability to communicate identified opportunities, present key information, obtain relevant feedback within the team, active listening skills, responding with positive assertiveness).
4. Business analysis (validation, modification, and elimination of business opportunities).
5. Financial planning (business plan development, financial plan development).
6. Project management (project creation, action plan development).
