- Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop students' knowledge and skills in the area of creative thinking and the application of innovation in management practice. Students will learn theoretical concepts of creativity and innovation, and how to use advanced creative techniques and practical tools for team and project management. Emphasis will be placed on solving real-life case studies, identifying barriers to creativity, and proposing strategies to overcome them. The course also links theoretical knowledge with its application in the modern business environment, reflecting trends in technological innovation, design thinking, and strategic change management.

• Introduction to creativity and innovation in management practice
• Key theories of creativity (Guilford, Amabile, Sternberg)
• Divergent and convergent thinking
• Creative and innovative processes, economic and strategic significance, overview of process phases
• Creative techniques and tools (brainstorming, brainwriting, SCAMPER, mind maps, Design Thinking)
• Creativity in teams and organizations, how to create an environment that supports creativity, identifying and overcoming barriers, the Six Thinking Hats method.
• Typology of innovations and their applications: technological, product, and process innovations and examples thereof
• Case studies of successful innovations and creative approaches and their practical application in your own practice, analysis of real-life examples and proposal of solutions based on the knowledge gained
• Implementation of innovations and the future of creativity, ways of measuring return on investment in innovation, future trends in creative thinking, change management
