Course objectives
THE PURPOSE OF THE SUBJECT: The purpose of the subject of public finance, tax and management is to present basic knowledge about how the fiscal system works in general and specifically in the Czech Republic. There is also explained the nature and mechanism of budgetary policies in the EU. This course is designed for students of bachelor's degree in both full and combined form of study. OBJECTIVE AND OUTPUT OF THE SUBJECT: The aim is to extend the theoretical knowledge acquired in economics courses on public finances. Lectures focus on key areas and key issues of budget and fiscal policies and in particular on the facts of the Czech Republic and the EU.
