The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course focuses on the issues of working with the complexity of the business environment, the uncertainty of the conditions for implementing business activities, the dichotomy of ties (cooperative and competitive dimensions) within the network of relations between market entities. Students will be familiar with approaches, methods and tools for creating a strategy and strategic management of a business entity in a combination of traditional and alternative concepts, based on the current level of knowledge in the field. The teaching aims to develop systems thinking, reasoning and mastering methodological procedures necessary to acquire professional competence in the area of ​​solving strategic cases (ensuring information and developing one's own strategy). Emphasis is placed on a deeper understanding of the nature of the relationship of a company to stakeholders and competitors, including the ability to analyze and critically evaluate phenomena typical of contemporary business practice in accordance with the competitive intelligence approach.
