- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The course "Motivation and performance management" is focused on the topics of personnel psychology, especially on theoretical and practical aspects of motivation, human personality in performance management and related topics in the professional field. The form of the course is conceived in practice and its aim is to introduce students to the real environment and the use of work psychology in it. It leads to a factual grasp of concepts, to the perception of the complexity of performance management.

- Main topics of the course: Introduction, definition of terms, performance management Job satisfaction vs. dissatisfaction Feedback and its importance in influencing performance Theory of motivation and their application in practice Motivation of employees in practice, work with different types of employees Performance management cycle Evaluation process in performance management Career management and talent management Use of diagnostic methods in performance management Development Center in practice Specific techniques of working with people and their use in motivating employees

- Graded credit: (on campus) min. participation in seminars 70%, practically oriented seminar paper meeting the specified requirements; (online/distant) submission of a credit seminar paper meeting the specified requirements.
