- Course objectives
- The course introduces students to the study of social psychology, which is one of the basic (theoretical) psychological disciplines. The subject content is knowledge about interpersonal situations and relationships and about the ways of thinking, emotional experience and behaviour of an individual in a social context. The course emphasizes practical applications in a managerial context. The course builds on topics from introductory psychology and management disciplines and provides a cognitive basis for the teaching of some subsequent disciplines in which management issues are conceptualised in a social psychological context. Course objectives: to introduce students to the terms of social psychology and their meaning, to teach students to understand and predict people's behavior in a social context, to support the ability to perceive the topics of social psychology in a wider managerial context, to apply knowledge focused on leading, evaluating and motivating people in practice.
