Course objectives

The course focuses on deepening knowledge and skills in the field of management and business economics. The main idea of the course is to familiarize students with the basics of crisis management related to management functions and elements (planning, organizing, stimulating, and controlling). The course introduces students to methods that can help improve a company's finances, enhance the functionality of business processes, and increase the overall efficiency of the company's operations.


The objectives of the course are:

  • to learn and master additional methods of gathering and evaluating information about a company and its environment;
  • acquire knowledge and skills enabling appropriate responses to crisis situations with minimal losses and the search for new opportunities arising from crises;
  • become familiar with the typical causes and types of crisis situations, improve the overall ability to deal with such situations rationally, including the ability to communicate effectively in a crisis.
