- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- To gain a deeper understanding of selected processes in the field of human resource management, with an emphasis on the context of their practical application and the psychological dimension of HRM issues. To provide a practical insight into HRM with formative aspects, i.e. the ability to solve specific assignments and design appropriate procedures both within the processes discussed in more detail and within other HRM processes. To involve students in empirical research on the position of Generation Z in the context of HR and the future of work.

- Solving and presenting complex case studies from the practice of various types of organizations in the field of HRM (teamwork, case studies).
- Employee selection and conducting job interviews (teamwork; role-playing).
- Assessment Centre methodology (teamwork; role-playing).
- Employee performance appraisal. Designing an appraisal questionnaire (teamwork; case studies, role-playing).
- Processing outputs based on primary data obtained from practice concerning the position of Generation Z in the context of HR and the future of work.

Combination of lectures and seminars (lectures once a week online + recorded lectures available for 40 days; seminars once every two weeks or in three blocks);
- Teamwork, role-playing, interactive format (open space for questions, discussion, consultations, presentation of students’ professional opinions and findings);
- Establishing contacts with practice and reflecting them in HRM.

- Assessment methods
Course credit: active participation in seminars, preparation and timely submission of a seminar paper according to the instructor’s guidelines (50% of the final grade).
Exam: oral, on-site – professional discussion of the seminar paper + verification of theoretical knowledge and the ability to apply it in practice (remaining 50% of the final grade).- Language of instruction
