Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
This course aims at guiding students through developing basic knowledge of commercial law and apply it to real-life situations. After completing the course, students will be able to 1) orient themseves in matters concerning business law, defining those challenges associated with communicating with lawyers and writing contracts up. (thus minimizing the potential risks associated with contracting) 2) develop the internal regulation of the company 3) avoid potential sanctions as a result of unfair competition or anti-competitive behavior, 4) know the risks embedded in the creation and subsequent dissemination of advertising, 5) be aware of the characteristics of Bills of Exchange , promissory notes and other similar instruments. The course will be taught by lectures, statutes and case analysis and discussions. Lectures will be supported by PowerPoint presentations provided by the lecturer. Students will be required to read selected articles and courts judgments, present and discuss them in class.
